Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Risk Manager to join our busy Natural Resources and New Energies team. You will work with project delivery to design and implement risk management across multiple programmes, lead workshops, and produce robust risk data and reports.

The role offers collaboration with an award‑winning risk management community and exposure to high-profile projects. The role requires experience in multi-project risk roles, familiarity with risk standards (ISO31000/APM/Orange

Qualifications

• Experience in managing risk in multiple projects/programmes or equivalent risk role.
• Familiarity with at least one risk standard or approach (ISO31000, APM, Orange Book, IPA).
• Familiarity with at least one risk tool.
• Awareness of Monte-Carlo techniques for Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA).
• Understanding of how Project Controls (Scheduling, Cost, Change) interact with Risk Management.
• Desirable risk qualification such as APM Risk Certificate Level 2 or MoR.
• Familiarity with NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and implement risk management processes tailored to client needs.
• Facilitate risk workshops with subject matter experts.
• Create and maintain risk registers and related information.
• Challenge risk data to improve quality and robustness.
• Drive mitigation actions across projects and programmes.
• Develop management responses linked to mitigated positions.
• Conduct QRA for cost and schedule impacts.
• Produce timely risk reports using MS tools and Power BI.
• Coordinate with Project Controls and supply chain.
