Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Risk Manager/Senior Risk Manager to join its Scotland-based Energy & Natural Resources team. The role involves leading risk professionals across diverse projects, implementing robust risk processes, and driving improvements to maximise value for clients.

You will engage with executive stakeholders, train teams in best practices, and contribute to the integrated project controls framework. UK driving license and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in risk management across multiple projects/programmes.
• Ability to define and implement risk management approaches.
• Familiar with standards (ISO31000, APM PRAM, Orange Book, IPA).
• Experience with QRA software such as Primavera Risk Analysis, Risk, or Xactium.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of risk professionals to deliver risk interventions across complex projects.
• Design and tailor risk management processes to client needs and best practice.
• Drive continuous improvement in risk management and project controls.
• Maintain risk registers and quality control of risk data and reporting.
• Lead workshops and training on risk management for clients and team members.
• Support contingency forecasting and change control processes.
