Job summary

NatWest Group is seeking a Business Risk Manager for NatWest Markets Public. You will provide real-time risk oversight and governance reporting, partnering with business leaders to ensure effective risk management and insightful decisions across the organization.

Key duties include analysing risk data, coordinating risk assessments and remediation plans, and escalating emerging risks with practical recommendations to support safe growth and strong customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise-wide risk management frameworks, governance, oversight and risk culture.
• Ability to translate policy/framework requirements into practical risk activities.
• Strong analytical mindset for MIS interpretation and risk improvements.
• Proven stakeholder management across all three lines of defence.
• Experience aligned to business areas such as Customer Distribution, Lending, Digital Banking, or Technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time oversight of the end-to-end risk profile and governance reporting.
• Deliver intelligent insight through engagement with business leaders and partners across all three lines of defence.
• Analyse risk and control data to identify weaknesses and support remediation actions.
• Coordinate risk and control assessments, risk forums, governance reporting and remediation plans.
• Escalate emerging risks with actionable recommendations to support safe growth and customer outcomes.
