Job summary

BDO is seeking an Industry or practice qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) to join our Strategic Resourcing Solutions (SRS) team within Business Services and Outsourcing. You will support timely accounting and consultancy services for clients, and you will work closely with client teams and management.

You’ll work independently on client projects, analyse data, and discuss key issues with clients including trading position, outlook, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Solid accounting knowledge with experience in accounts preparation and outsourced accounting
• Good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Good knowledge of corporation tax, income tax, VAT, PAYE, company secretarial procedures and applications
• Competent in Microsoft Office and use of all standard in house packages

Responsibilities

• Join the Strategic Resourcing Solutions (SRS) team and support timely delivery of accounting and consultancy services.
• Work independently and take ownership of specific client projects as an extension of their finance team.
• Analyse client data, make informed recommendations, and discuss key issues with clients including trading position, future outlook and legislative changes.
• Collaborate with senior managers, Directors, and Partners to enable us to serve our clients effectively and identify opportunities to enhance delivery.

You’ll join our Strategic Resourcing Solutions (SRS) team, part of Business Services and Outsourcing (BSO). Working closely with our clients, you’ll support the timely delivery of accounting and consultancy services. You’ll work independently and take ownership of specific client projects, operating as a trusted extension of their finance team.
