Job summary

BDO is seeking an Industry or practice qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) to support our Strategic Resourcing Solutions team. You’ll bring solid accounting knowledge, including accounts preparation and outsourced accounting, with strong UK GAAP and IFRS understanding.

You’ll collaborate with senior managers and clients, leveraging MS Office and in-house tools to deliver accurate financial insights and compliance across tax, VAT, PAYE, and company secretarial procedures.

Qualifications

• Industry or practice qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
• Solid accounting knowledge with experience in accounts preparation and outsourced accounting.
• Good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Good knowledge of corporation tax, income tax, VAT, PAYE, company secretarial procedures and applications.
• Competent in Microsoft Office and use of in-house packages.

You’ll join our Strategic Resourcing Solutions (SRS) team, part of Business Services and Outsourcing (BSO). Working closely with our clients, you’ll support the timely delivery of accounting and consultancy services. You’ll work independently and take ownership of specific client projects, operating as a trusted extension of their finance team. Alongside strong accounting capabilities, you’ll bring broad commercial awareness, enabling you to analyse client data, make informed recommendations and discuss key issues confidently with clients, including their current trading position, future outlook and legislative changes, At BDO, we’ll help you achieve your personal goals and career ambitions, and we have programmes, resources, and frameworks that provide clarity and structure around career development.
