Job summary

BDO is seeking a Senior Manager in its Real Estate and Construction advisory team to help clients achieve strategic goals. You’ll build trusted relationships, develop practical business solutions, and lead workshops that produce actionable plans and dashboards aligned with cost and benefit drivers.

You’ll also present analysis to senior stakeholders, identify opportunities for additional services, and mentor junior staff while promoting agile working and professional growth.

As a Senior Manager in our Business Services Outsourcing (BSO) Real Estate and Construction team you'll help businesses achieve their strategic goals. You’ll build trusted client relationships, understand the opportunities and challenges organisations face, and develop practical business solutions, models and scenarios that demonstrate costs and benefits. You’ll lead client meetings and workshops, produce project and action plans that support successful implementation, and design business plans and financial dashboards with clear drivers, success measures, milestones and deliverables. You’ll also be encouraged to bring forward ideas that enhance how we work and identify opportunities to provide additional services to the organisations we support.

You'll be someone with:

• Financial experience preparing management information, forecasts and financial dashboards;
• Proven ability in extracting information from a range of financial systems, and understanding accounting principles;
• Strong analytical skills and an ability to interpret data and evidence to identify underlying issues such as business performance
• Presentation skills, able to communicate ideas and information carefully to a range of audiences
• Relationship skills, able to build trust in others to drive collaboration around ideas
• An accounting qualification(ACA, ACCA or equivalent) or equivalent experience
• Solid accountancy experience is required
