Job summary

BDO LLP is seeking a Strategic Resourcing Solutions Consultant to join our Advisory team in Leeds or Manchester. You will work with clients on accounting and consultancy services, applying UK GAAP and IFRS knowledge, tax and regulatory considerations, and using standard office tools to deliver value-led outcomes.

You’ll collaborate with senior managers, directors and partners, analyze client data, and provide practical recommendations to improve financial processes and controls while supporting

Qualifications

• Industry accounting expertise and practical accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS principles.
• Understanding of corporation tax, income tax, VAT, PAYE and company secretarial procedures.

You’ll work independently and take ownership of specific client projects, operating as a trusted extension of their finance team. Alongside strong accounting capabilities, you’ll bring broad commercial awareness, enabling you to analyse client data, make informed recommendations and discuss key issues confidently with clients, including their current trading position, future outlook and legislative changes You'll be someone with: * Industry or practice qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent experience* Solid accounting knowledge with previous experience within accounts preparation and outsourced accounting* Good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS* Good knowledge of corporation tax, income tax, VAT, PAYE, company secretarial procedures and applications* Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and use of all standard in house packages You’ll be able to be yourself; we’ll recognise and value you for who you are and celebrate and reward your contributions to the business.
