Job summary

BDO is seeking a Consultant within Strategic Resource Solutions (SRS) of the Business Services Outsourcing (BSO) team. You will work with clients to deliver accounting and consultancy services, analysing data, and advising on current trading position, outlook and regulatory changes.

You will interact with senior managers and Partners to ensure successful delivery. You will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualified professional with solid UK GAAP/IFRS knowledge and experience in outsourced

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
• Solid accounting knowledge with experience in accounts preparation and outsourced accounting.
• Good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Knowledge of corporation tax, income tax, VAT, PAYE and company secretarial procedures.

Job description

As a Consultant within our Strategic Resource Solutions (SRS) part of our Business Services Outsourcing (BSO) team you'll work closely with our clients and support them in the timely delivery of accounting, consultancy services. You will work independently and be accountable for the delivery of certain projects to the client as if you were a permanent member of their finance team. In addition to accounting capabilities, you will have rounded business knowledge able to analyse client data, make recommendations and talk credibly to clients on the issues they face such as current trading position, future outlook and legislative changes You'll be someone with

• Industry or practice qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent experience
• Solid accounting knowledge with previous experience within accounts preparation and outsourced accounting
• Good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Good knowledge of corporation tax, income tax, VAT, PAYE, company secretarial procedures and applications
