Job summary
Allianz UK is seeking an experienced Release Governance professional to shape our Release Management governance framework and drive improvements in automation and centralised planning. You will partner with delivery teams and suppliers, ensuring evidence-led readiness and robust controls.
The role is hybrid, with offices in Guildford, Bournemouth or Birmingham, and requires governance maturity across financial services. Competitive package aligns with experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in Release Management, Change Management or IT Governance.
- Ability to make evidence-based governance decisions with documentation.
- Experience with governance forums (CAB, Release Readiness, Go/No-Go).
- ITIL v4 qualification or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Own and operate the Release Readiness Assurance process with governance decisions.
- Provide independent governance oversight for high-risk releases and plans.
- Review Forward Schedule of Change and Release Calendar for documentation.
- Challenge delivery teams on governance documentation and release plans.
- Ensure acceptance evidence is completed before deployment and produce risk reporting.
