Job summary

Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) invites applications for a Director of Regional Engagement. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead regional strategy, partnerships, and people leadership across the UK, shaping how communities access support and volunteer networks.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of strategic leadership within the voluntary, public or related sectors.
• Proven ability to lead organisational change and service development.
• Experience working with boards, trustees or senior governance bodies.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of SIA's regional engagement strategy and operating model.
• Drive organisational transformation and a culture of collaboration and impact.
• Grow strategic partnerships with charities, NHS organisations and service providers.
• Expand the network of community groups, volunteers and local advocates.
• Provide strategic leadership as a member of the Executive Team.
• Oversee the People function, workforce planning and leadership development.
• Ensure regional presence delivers measurable improvements in reach, engagement and impact.
