Job summary

Vero HR is seeking an experienced Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement and supply chain operations within an established manufacturing environment. This role moves beyond day-to-day purchasing to influence strategy, supplier performance and operational efficiency.

You will develop procurement strategy, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost/value improvements while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management in manufacturing/FMCG.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management capability.
• Commercial mindset focused on cost and value.
• Data-driven with analytics and forecasting experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the procurement and supply chain strategy.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Lead commercial negotiations and contract agreements.
• Forecast demand and monitor market trends.
• Analyse spend, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align supply with operations.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
