Job summary

HUBER+SUHNER seeks a senior procurement and supply chain leader to define strategies across procurement, supplier management, and cost reduction. You will oversee planning, logistics, and production scheduling, while developing teams and aligning with global sourcing objectives.

Ideal candidates bring 6-8 years in supply chain with leadership experience, ERP/SAP proficiency, and a track record of improving supplier performance and inventory management within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science-related field is required.
• Master’s degree in industrial engineering or supply chain preferred.
• Experience in procurement and supplier management is essential.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Proven ability to optimize total cost of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Define procurement strategy in collaboration with Sales, Supply Chain and Global Sourcing.
• Select and develop local supplier base aligned with Global Category strategies.
• Lead negotiations and set contracts with key suppliers.
• Monitor supplier risks and performance to avoid supply constraints.
• Manage and develop the Purchasing department.
• Oversee S&OP, inventory management and demand planning.
• Coordinate production planning and master data in SAP/ERP.
• Drive continuous improvements and KPI reporting.
