Job summary

Lucy Electric, a leader in intelligent power distribution, seeks a Purchasing Manager in Thame to lead sourcing strategy, vendor negotiations, and team performance within a compliant supply chain environment.

You will drive cost optimisation, support product development, and ensure ERP data integrity while collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining high standards of H&S compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in sourcing/purchasing within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the local Purchasing Department and procurement strategy.
• Negotiate supplier pricing and terms; manage vendor relationships.
• Coordinate with Design, R&D and QA on sourcing.
• Oversee QMS and EHS activities related to supply chain.
• Monitor KPIs and drive cost reduction projects.
• Manage ERP records and budgeting activities.
