Job summary

UKSBS, part of UKRI, is recruiting a Procurement Manager in Swindon (also Newport or Stockton-on-Tees). Band E: £42,730. You will manage end-to-end procurement from commodities to complex contracts, ensuring adherence to government rules and procurement best practices.

You'll work with stakeholders to develop specifications, lead e-procurement activities (Jaggaer eSourcing), and drive value for money while coaching a team and delivering service improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing medium to high value procurement projects in the public sector.
• Knowledge of government regulations and best practices in procurement.
• Experience with e-procurement platforms (Jaggaer eSourcing).
• Leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in development and management of end-to-end tendering processes.
• Ensure procurements adhere to government regulations and publish opportunities.
• Promote best practices and effective use of e-Procurement systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop service specifications and contracts.
• Ensure audit trails, governance and value-for-money analysis.
