Job summary

First Choice Homes Oldham is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement across goods, works and services. You will work in a hybrid Oldham setting, guiding colleagues, optimizing value for money and ensuring compliance with PCR15/PA23 and JCT-type contracts.

You’ll collaborate with Assets and Development teams, develop supplier relationships and help shape the procurement strategy across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering procurement projects under PCR15/PA23 regulations.
• Experience operating with JCT or other works-related contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and focus on value for money.
• Ability to lead procurement activities compliantly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement projects for goods, works and services.
• Provide expert procurement guidance to managers across FCHO.
• Monitor supplier performance and support contract management.
• Maintain the contract register and procurement records.
• Identify opportunities to improve value for money and efficiency.
• Support governance, reporting and audit requirements.
• Deliver procurement training and promote best practices.
• Keep up to date with procurement legislation and market developments.
