Job summary

WSP is seeking a Proposals Manager specialising in defence, security and nuclear to lead opportunities across the full Work Winning Lifecycle. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders, technical experts and proposal professionals to build high-performing bid teams and deliver compelling, profitable proposals that align with client needs and delivery models.

You’ll drive win strategies, shape messages, and ensure compliant submissions while mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to ongoing

Qualifications

Experience managing proposals within defence/security/nuclear sectors.
Ability to craft clear, compliant bid responses under deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead opportunities through the full Work Winning Lifecycle from capture to handover.
Understand client requirements, terms, and delivery models and align solutions accordingly.
Develop win strategies, value propositions and key messages for differentiators.
Write, review and shape high-quality bid content with SMEs for technical coherence.
Ensure submissions comply with client requirements, governance, and quality standards.
Coordinate reviews and approvals through to final submission.
Engage with senior stakeholders to shape offers and secure buy-in.
Promote best practice and continuous improvement in defence, security and nuclear bids.
Mentor junior team members to strengthen the proposals community.
