Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Proposals Manager specializing in defence, security and nuclear to lead opportunities across the full Work Winning Lifecycle, collaborating with senior leaders and SMEs to deliver compelling, compliant proposals.

You will shape win strategies, craft high-quality bid content, and ensure timely submissions while mentoring junior colleagues and driving continuous improvement in a global work-winning capability.

Qualifications

• Experience working on proposals within defence/security/nuclear including handling protected information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to edit and shape clear bid content.
• Strong English language skills with experience writing under time pressure.
• Robust project management with multi-workstream planning and quality control.
• Proactive, self-motivated, ownership and sound judgement.
• Commitment to quality and continuous improvement in work-winning capability.
• Interest in using digital bidding tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage opportunities through the full WSP Work Winning Lifecycle, from capture and qualification to bid preparation, submission, lessons learned and handover.
• Understand client requirements, commercial and contractual terms, and proposed delivery models to ensure solutions align to client needs and are clearly articulated.
• Develop and own win strategies, value propositions and key messages, ensuring differentiators are evidenced and aligned to client priorities.
• Write, review and shape high-quality, compliant proposal content with SMEs to integrate technical content into coherent responses.
• Ensure all submissions comply with client requirements, governance and quality standards, coordinating reviews and approvals through to final submission.
• Influence and communicate with senior level stakeholders to shape offers and secure buy-in.
• Act as focal point for proposals best practice, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in defence/security/nuclear sectors, focusing on security vetting and information management.
• Mentor and support junior team members to strengthen the proposals community.
