Job summary

Wilson James is recruiting a Special Projects Manager for Sizewell C in Ipswich. You will oversee safe, controlled delivery of enabling works and operational-improvement projects within the Lead Logistics Partner programme.

You will manage definition, planning, design coordination, procurement, delivery, testing and handover while coordinating designers, contractors and stakeholders. The role requires strong project management, risk and change controls, excellent communication, and the ability

Qualifications

• Strong project-management experience delivering enabling works, infrastructure or operational-improvement projects.
• Experience coordinating designers, contractors, suppliers and operational stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain project programmes, risks, issues, dependencies and clear progress reporting.
• Commercial awareness with experience controlling scope, budget, change and supplier commitments.
• Confident use of Microsoft Office and project-planning tools.
• Certified MAPS (HS&E Managers and Professionals) before start date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, controlled enabling works and upgrades across Sizewell C Lead Logistics Partner programme.
• Manage projects from definition and planning through design, procurement, delivery, testing and handover.
• Coordinate designers, contractors, suppliers and operational stakeholders.
• Maintain programmes, risks, issues, dependencies and progress reporting.
• Ensure safe delivery within live operations without disruption to BAU.
