Job summary

Sizewell C Company is looking for a Logistics Supervisor to support the SZC Civil Works Programme on-site in Suffolk. You will coordinate deliveries, plant movements and access requirements across the project, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient logistics operations to meet programme demands.

The role requires strong experience in construction logistics, with expertise in scheduling, vehicle access controls, tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of logistics coordination within construction, infrastructure or heavy civil engineering environments.
• Good knowledge of delivery scheduling, haulage coordination, vehicle access controls and site logistics planning.
• Understanding of compliance requirements related to DCO conditions, booking adherence, vehicle standards and project logistics controls.
• Knowledge of FORS, CLOCS, vehicle tracking and site access documentation.
• Ability to manage real-time operational issues including delays, breaches, changing site priorities and capacity constraints.
• Strong IT skills with booking systems, trackers, spreadsheets and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to coordinate site teams, hauliers and client reps.

Responsibilities

• Maintain logistics forecasts (HGVs, AILs, materials) and review site requirements.
• Coordinate deliveries, collections and plant movements aligning with constraints.
• Ensure compliance with DCO and SZC requirements; monitor slot adherence and breaches.
• Investigate delays, no-shows, cancellations, and reallocations; support real-time decisions.
• Liaise with haulage, site teams and SZC; be the main logistics coordination point.
• Support HGV and logistics reporting; track no-shows and utilisation; ensure data accuracy.
• Identify recurring issues and support continuous improvement of logistics processes.
