Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. seeks an Engineer - Strategic Projects to support a Software Factory environment for next-generation combat management software in defence and maritime sectors.

You will work in an Agile team to design, develop and integrate software using DevSecOps, cloud technologies and secure development practices. The role involves contributing to SDLC engineering, collaborating with developers, and supporting secure deployment across air-gapped environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science or related Science discipline.
• Experience in software engineering, systems engineering or software development environments.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and Scrum delivery practices.
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based development environments.
• Experience designing and implementing technical solutions throughout the software lifecycle.
• Strong engineering communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work within an Agile Scrum team to deliver software development work packages.
• Design, develop and implement technical solutions to enhance the Software Factory capability.
• Support development, review and maintenance of software code and engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers providing technical guidance and code review support.
• Support integration, testing and deployment of software products in secure environments.
• Assist with DevSecOps processes, tools and best practices adoption.
• Support product integration activities including deployment into air-gapped environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
