Job summary

Boston Consulting Group is seeking a Strategic Projects Director to shape and deliver high-impact, cross-functional initiatives within the Expertise Advantage Practice Area, including BCG Vantage and the Expert Career Track. Qualifications

• 10–12 years of relevant experience in strategy, management consulting, or a comparable strategic role.
• Experience with cross-functional initiatives is essential.
• Experience contributing to operating model change and/or AI-enabled transformation is strongly preferred.
• Strong business judgment and ability to connect strategic intent to operational reality.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and comfort working with senior executives.
• Ability to collaborate across cultures, functions, and levels of seniority.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic delivery: own and deliver end-to-end, cross-functional initiatives aligned with the roadmap for Expertise Advantage.
• AI and operating model transformation: support AI adoption across Expertise and Knowledge in line with the AI strategy.
• Hands-on execution: drive analyses, syntheses, and executive-ready materials.
• Own complex workstreams: manage multiple parallel initiatives with ambiguity and prioritization.
• Translate strategy into action: convert high-level objectives into executable plans with milestones and owners.
• Senior leadership support: act as a trusted partner to senior leaders and support governance forums.
• Insight generation: conduct strategic, financial, and performance analyses to inform priorities and course correction.
