Job summary

Boston Consulting Group is seeking an AI Strategy & Portfolio Manager to prioritize, govern, and drive a portfolio of agentic AI assets. You will translate business priorities into portfolio inputs and shape AI product decisions that create value at PA, BU, and firm levels.

The role reports to the Global PA AI Strategy & Portfolio Director and involves working with PA AI leaders, Product Managers and PSLs. It spans governance, budget prioritization, and performance analytics in a market-driven

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of relevant experience combining consulting or professional services with hands-on product management.
• Experience managing a portfolio of products/AI-powered offers with investment decisions accountability.
• Solid understanding of product lifecycle management from ideation to sunset.
• Familiarity with PA structures, governance, and client economics at a top-tier firm.
• MBA or similar Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define portfolio vision and strategic guardrails for agentic assets in remit, aligned with PA AI leaders and stakeholders.
• Establish and enforce governance standards, including stage-gate criteria for build, scale, pivot and sunset decisions.
• Identify synergies and consolidation opportunities across products/offers/pas; balance portfolio maturity and reuse potential.
• Advise on buy-or-build recommendations and prepare investment/funding materials.
• Maintain transparency and provide insights on portfolio performance, risks, ROI to stakeholders.
