Job summary

Babcock is offering a Project Management Degree Apprentice position in the UK, combining online degree study with onsite work. You’ll contribute to national security projects while pursuing a BSc in Project Management, gaining real-world experience.

You’ll support planning and delivery of Maintenance Periods for in-service submarines within SSE, learning to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage stakeholder expectations across large programmes. BPSS and SC clearance are required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above.
• 3 A Levels at grade C or above in related subjects such as Maths/Science/IT.
• T Level Pass with core component at grade C or above.
• BTEC Extended Diploma at grade MMM (Merit, Merit, Merit).
• Strong communication, teamwork, organisation, attention to detail, and an interest in project management.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of Maintenance Periods for in-service UK submarines.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage stakeholder expectations on large programmes.
• Contribute to projects across design, manufacturing, in-service support and capability enhancement.
• Learn through a four-year programme and develop practical project management skills.
