Job summary

Essential Employment seeks a Project Development Officer to lead the early development and planning of major property and capital projects. You’ll drive project initiation, governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management and resource planning to ensure projects are set up for success from day one.

Working closely with internal teams, contractors and senior stakeholders, you’ll coordinate project activities, manage risks and support the delivery of construction and estates-related programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the early development and planning of major property and capital projects, including project initiation and governance.
• Coordinate project activities with internal teams, contractors and senior stakeholders.
• Manage risks and support the delivery of construction and estates-related programmes.
• Oversee resource planning and provide project delivery support.
• Mentor and guide Project Officers to develop best practice across the team.
