Job summary

Port of London Authority seeks a proactive Project and Internal Communications Partner to lead project and internal communications strategy for major programmes. You will shape direction and drive day-to-day delivery, engaging executives and operational teams to build alignment and outcomes.

The role requires significant internal communications experience, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence senior leaders in support of business priorities. Gravesend-based with UK-wide project work.

• Significant internal and change communications experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project and internal communications.
• Deliver communication strategies for major projects and change programmes.
• Design strategic policies to support key programmes.
• Line management of Internal Communications Officer.
• Develop and embed best-practice internal communications.
• Counsel project sponsors and stakeholders on organisational change.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on communications effectiveness.
• Build relationships across the organisation with executives and teams.
• Develop objectives, messages and channel strategies aligned to PLA.
• Highlight and celebrate project achievements via communications channels.
