Job summary

The University of Cambridge invites applications for a Project Grant Manager to provide comprehensive operational & financial management for the UKRI National Hub (£25M). Based at the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute, the role ensures delivery of a complex, multi-partner programme and coordinates grant administration, financial monitoring, reporting, governance and compliance.

You will work closely with the Hub Senior Programme Manager, Directors, collaborators and partner organisations, supporting

Qualifications

  • First degree or equivalent professional experience with complex project management experience.
  • Experience delivering multi-partner research or innovation programmes within timescales and budgets.
  • Desirable: recognised project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the operational delivery of the UK Hub.
  • Coordinate the Hub's portfolio of translational research activities.
  • Provide high-level project management support to the Hub leadership team.
  • Manage the Hub's financial resources.
  • Develop & maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Lead governance & reporting activities.
  • Support development & implementation of processes to enhance Hub effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with University policies, UKRI requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
