Job summary

TechnipFMC in the United Kingdom is seeking an accounting professional to drive financial control on UK projects. You will manage invoicing, credit control, cost analysis and reporting, ensuring costs are recorded and allocated accurately.

Working closely with project managers, you will prepare monthly project reports, budgets, forecasts and working capital statements, participating in project meetings to maintain profitability and cash flow.

Qualifications

• Accounting background and experience in a similar role preferred.
• Good communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Team player with ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Strong PC skills and SAP experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare UK project invoices and ensure invoicing is performed on a timely basis.
• Credit control.
• Analysis of all costs charged to projects and liaising with project team to ensure costs have been correctly recorded and allocated.
• Match and post cost of sales in accordance with sales invoicing.
• Analyse and report work in progress against each project.
• Liaise with Project Managers to report project performance.
• Participate in relevant project meetings to ensure financial control of the project.
• Assist the project team in all aspects of cost control, ensuring effective management of the project.
• Prepare financial monthly project reports for Project Manager and Senior Management.
• Review and assist Project Manager with budget/forecast reporting.
• Prepare working capital.
• Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Accruals/prepayments
• Prepare quotes and submit them to Project Manager for approval.
• Maintaining project work breakdown structure (WBS) and associated tasks.
