Job summary

Cubic Defense in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated financial professional to support the financial elements of delegated UK/Europe Projects and Services contracts. The role collaborates with Program Management, Contracts, Engineering and Finance to deliver timely, accurate project financials and billings.

You will work under supervision, escalating complex issues as needed, and help improve the depth of financial information for senior management decisions.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of project accounting or management accounting experience (post-degree) in a project or services environment.
• Working knowledge of a project or services-based environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support business partnering activities with Program Management or Services teams.
• Assist in the preparation of project financials for approval.
• Prepare monthly project reports and analysis.
• Prepare billings related to the assigned portfolio of projects in conjunction with the contracts and projects teams.
• Maintain project numbers, budgets, ETC's and other project information in the ERP System.
• Assist FP&A with the co-ordination and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for Cubic.
