Cubic Corporation, via Cubic Defense, is seeking a Finance/Project Accountant to support financial elements of UK/Europe projects. You will work across Commercial, Engineering, Project Management, Bids & Proposals and Finance, providing financial-based support under senior staff guidance.

You will participate in monthly project reports, billing coordination, and variance analysis, contributing to better decision making and risk management.

Qualifikationen

• Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business discipline from a tertiary institution.
• Essential: 3–6 years of project accounting or management accounting experience in a project or services environment.
• Essential: Strong ability to work with others under deadline pressures and respond to changing priorities.
• Essential: Solid understanding of accounting principles including revenue recognition, accruals, cost allocation and balance sheet reconciliations.

Aufgaben

• Support business partnering activities with Program Management or Services teams.
• Assist in the preparation of project financials for approval.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding contract documents, change orders, and billing.
• Identify opportunities for improving project financial performance and escalate as needed.
• Liaise with Project Managers and CAMs to monitor risks and opportunities, and maintain the financial risk register.
