Job summary

LGC seeks a seasoned Senior Programme Manager to lead the NIHR Life Sciences Industry Implementation Plan, directing a multi‑partner programme that advances the UK life sciences agenda. • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
• Diplomatic and collaborative approach when engaging with seniority levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist in delivering the NIHR Life Sciences Industry Implementation Plan across multiple workstreams and partners.
• Recognise, prioritise, arrange, and track a wide range of interconnected activities with governance oversight.
• Translate strategic priorities into coherent programme plans with governance mechanisms.
• Track progress and ensure activities align with broader life sciences strategy goals.
• Collaborate with senior collaborators across organisations and adapt to different audiences.
• Develop and sustain collaborations with NIHR and external partners, including pharma companies.
• Support workstreams related to industry collaboration, clinical trials management, and system transformation.
• Manage competing priorities and maintain clear, accurate communication between collaborators.
• Bring structure and coordination to complex areas of work to advance programme objectives.
