Job summary

• Extensive experience managing complex projects and programmes.
• Strong planning abilities with dependencies and multi-workstream tracking.
• Experience establishing governance and delivery plans.
• Ability to navigate multi-organisational environments with multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
• A collaborative approach with diverse stakeholders at senior levels.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of the UK health research landscape and commercial research context.
• A proactive, delivery-focused mindset with structure for complex work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver the NIHR Life Sciences Industry Plan across workstreams and partners.
• Recognise, prioritise, arrange, and track interconnected activities.
• Translate priorities into coherent programme plans with governance and oversight.
• Track progress and ensure activities align with life sciences strategy.
• Collaborate with senior partners across organisations and audiences.
• Develop collaborations with NIHR and external partners including pharma.
• Support workstreams on industry collaboration, trials management, and transformation.
• Manage competing priorities and ensure clear communication among collaborators.
• Bring structure to complex areas of work to ensure progress against objectives.
