Job summary

Genuit Group in Caerphilly is seeking a Production Planner to organise production schedules and coordinate with cross‑functional teams. You will ensure on‑time builds, manage inventory, and support material planning with BOM integration.

Working hours are 37 per week, onsite from 07:00 to 15:00, with some Fridays early finish. Strong problem‑solving, English/Maths skills, and experience in manufacturing are advantageous.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) is expected.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities are essential.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production workflow via capacity planning and lead time systems.
• Maintain production schedules aligned with customer requirements and capacity.
• Evaluate inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
• BOM integration to support material planning activities.
• Organise production builds to satisfy demand and avoid stoppages.
• Collaborate with Labour planner on line rates and potential issues.
• Analyse data and propose process improvements to reduce costs.
• Participate in the S&OP process to balance supply and demand.
