Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Chirk, Wales, is seeking a Production Planner to join our Manufacturing Planning team. You will develop weekly/daily production schedules, manage stock levels, coordinate with Production, Sales and Supply Chain, and prepare reports to support business performance.

The role requires strong organisation, analytical ability, and proficiency with Excel, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach to meet customer and operational needs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months experience in production planning, scheduling, stock control or supply chain planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain weekly and daily production plans to optimise capacity and efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with production management.
• Coordinate production scheduling across manufacturing operations.
• Monitor and analyse production capacity and performance.
• Manage stock control activities, including inventory monitoring and stock updates.
• Coordinate transfer and availability of production materials.
• Analyse laminate and inlay consumption and maintain stock levels.
• Raise purchase orders and manage supplier call-offs.
• Prepare monthly reports and maintain planning records.
• Attend daily meetings and provide planning updates as required.
• Liaise with internal departments including Production, Sales and Supply Chain.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standards.
