Mercia Group, part of Wilmington plc, is seeking a Product Manager to shape the future of our compliance and advisory portfolio. You’ll define strategy, roadmaps and work with subject matter experts across the business to deliver value for our accountancy firm clients.

This UK homebased role offers hybrid options and a chance to influence product strategy amid regulatory change and evolving SaaS delivery models.

Qualifications

• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent) and audit experience.
• Experience managing or developing methodology, compliance, advisory, technical support or information-based products.
• Knowledge of SaaS products and subscription-based models.
• Translate customer needs and regulatory requirements into practical product solutions.
• Experience creating product roadmaps, prioritising initiatives and managing competing demands.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams.
• Customer-focused mindset, supported by sound commercial awareness and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the product strategy and roadmap for Mercia's methodology and advisory portfolio.
• Own products throughout their lifecycle, from concept and launch to ongoing improvement and optimisation.
• Use customer insight, market trends and regulatory developments to shape product direction.
• Explore opportunities to leverage AI, automation and emerging technologies to enhance customer value.
• Work closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts and technology partners to bring ideas to life.
• Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to drive growth, engagement and retention.
• Support pricing, proposition development and go-to-market activity.
