Mercia Group is seeking a Product Manager to shape the future of its compliance and advisory portfolio. You will define product strategy, develop roadmaps and work with subject matter experts to deliver customer-focused solutions.

Drawing on accounting background and SaaS experience, you will balance regulatory change with commercial performance while leveraging AI and new technologies to enhance value for UK accountancy firms.

Qualifications

• Must hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent) and audit experience.
• Experience managing or developing methodology, compliance, advisory, technical support or information-based products.
• Knowledge of SaaS products and subscription-based business models.
• Ability to translate customer needs and regulatory requirements into practical product solutions.
• Experience creating product roadmaps, prioritising initiatives and managing competing demands.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across multiple teams.
• Customer-focused mindset, with commercial awareness and decision-making.

Responsabilités

• Define and deliver the product strategy and roadmap for Mercia's methodology and advisory portfolio.
• Own products throughout their lifecycle, from concept and launch to ongoing improvement and optimisation.
• Use customer insight, market trends and regulatory developments to shape product direction.
• Explore opportunities to leverage AI, automation and emerging technologies to enhance customer value.
• Work closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts and technology partners to bring ideas to life.
• Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to drive growth, engagement and retention.
• Support pricing, proposition development and go-to-market activity.
