Job summary

IES Utilities Group Ltd. is seeking a Procurement Officer to source materials, plant, equipment and subcontract services for project delivery across the UK.

You will manage supplier relationships, obtain quotations, negotiate terms and raise purchase orders to support operations and programme deadlines. The role requires strong buying experience, attention to detail and the ability to work closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, Commercial and Finance to ensure compliant, cost-effective

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement and supply chain roles.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience obtaining quotations and managing purchase orders.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related software.

Responsibilities

• Source materials, plant, equipment and subcontract services in line with project requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms and service agreements for best value.
• Raise purchase orders and maintain procurement records accurately.
• Monitor supplier performance and delivery timelines, building strong supplier relationships.
