Ipsum is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Wakefield to lead our procurement strategy and support growth. The role focuses on developing savings registers, improving systems, and creating guidance materials while strengthening supplier and stakeholder relationships.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will drive value through data‑driven insights, dashboards, and robust procurement processes that enable informed strategic decisions in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of procurement processes, regulations and systems.
• Analytical and detail‑driven with data interpretation and problem solving.
• Experience in process improvement, reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Drive value, efficiency, and insight across our procurement activity.
• Strengthen processes, improve data visibility and supplier relationships.
• Build dashboards, leakage reports and category insights to support decisions.
• Maintain accurate procurement records including savings registers in SharePoint.
• Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders for cost‑effective purchasing.
• Create practical guides and process documentation to improve adoption.
• Stay informed on market and regulatory changes to provide guidance.
