A leading building products manufacturer seeks an experienced procurement professional to manage supplier relationships and develop category strategies. This role involves identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating supplier agreements, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Candidates should have strong strategic procurement experience, excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and be well-versed in industry regulations. A membership of CIPS or equivalent is essential. The position is based in Edlington, United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Strategic Procurement.
• Strong negotiation skills for commercial negotiations.
• Experience in creating and implementing Category plans.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, e.g., ISO.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities from local suppliers.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies.
• Ensure supplier performance against KPIs.
• Produce reports on spend and savings.
