Job summary

Aster Group is seeking a Procurement Partner to help deliver procurement strategies supporting our capital programme and customer outcomes. You will work with Property and Investment colleagues to develop category strategies and manage full procurement lifecycles.

You will build supplier relationships, negotiate effectively, monitor market trends and ensure compliance with policies. This hybrid role requires travel within our operating region and base from home when possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in category management, procurement or related commercial roles.
• Sound commercial judgement with focus on whole-life value and customer outcomes.
• Strong relationship-building; able to influence and challenge constructively.
• Experience of contract management and supplier relationship management.
• Curiosity and continuous improvement mindset; simplify complexity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver procurement strategies that support capital programme and priorities.
• Lead procurement projects through full lifecycle from strategy to contract and supplier management.
• Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate for best outcomes.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to improve value for money.
• Ensure procurement activity aligns with policies and legislation and report progress.
