Job summary

NWSSP Procurement Services is seeking a procurement professional to support the interface between Local Procurement and customers, helping shape category plans for Public Health Wales and assisting in delivering the NWSSP Business plan.

You will liaise with user departments and NWSSP at all levels to promote procurement input into partner organisations’ business plans at the earliest opportunity. The role emphasises collaboration, continuous improvement, and delivering a professional service.

Qualifications

• Qualified to CIPS Level 4 or NVQ2/3 or equivalent experience
• GCSEs with Maths and English at C or higher or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of purchasing principles and contract law

Responsibilities

• Contribute to being the interface between NWSSP Local Procurement and customers.
• Inform on the status/priority of category work plans across Public Health Wales.
• Support Procurement Business Manager in providing a professional procurement service to Public Health Wales.
