Job summary

The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool is seeking a Category Support Officer (Health Procurement) to join the Procurement Team. You will support the Category Lead and senior colleagues, delivering procurement strategies and schemes while ensuring value for money and adherence to public procurement rules.

• Qualified or part qualified MCIPS (Level 4/Diploma upwards).
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
• Evidence of continued professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement advice in line with financial instructions and regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical colleagues to deliver procurement activity that adds value and supports green agendas.
• Work with P2P and Supply Chain teams to ensure a joined-up procurement service.
• Lead and deliver projects to meet Cost Improvement Programmes and delivery of value for money.
