Job summary

Cheshire West and Chester is seeking a Procurement Officer to manage procurement of supplies, works and services within specific categories. The post holder will work closely with key stakeholders and with the Procurement Category Specialists and Procurement Manager to develop strategies for key categories.

This on-site, permanent role is based in Ellesmere Port and offers full-time hours. The role requires coordinating the end-to-end sourcing process across the supply chain to support council

Responsibilities

• Responsible for procurement of supplies, works and services within specific Procurement Categories.
• Work closely with key stakeholders within Cheshire West and Chester and with the Procurement Category Specialists, and Procurement Manager to develop a series of agreed strategies for key categories.
• The whole supply chain will be considered and Procurement will be instrumental in the complete sourcing process.
