Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Category Manager in Procurement to deliver commercial value through strategic sourcing, supplier management, spend analysis and category management across our operations in Worsley. The role collaborates with stakeholders to identify cost reductions and mitigate supply chain risk while ensuring supplier performance aligns with business objectives.

The successful candidate will be commercially focused, analytical and experienced in leading both strategic and operational

Qualifications

• Procurement experience with cost saving delivery and value improvements.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Experience leading supplier negotiations and tender exercises.
• Experience managing contracts and supplier relationships.
• Advanced Excel and procurement reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies across spend categories.
• Lead competitive tendering, supplier negotiations and contract renewals.
• Deliver measurable cost savings, cost avoidance and value improvements.
• Analyse spend data to identify consolidation and opportunities.
• Monitor market conditions and supplier trends to support procurement decisions.
• Support contract negotiations, renewals and supplier governance.
