Job summary

Atlas NextWave is seeking a Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our gas turbine procurement team. You will develop competitive supply chains, negotiate with suppliers, and manage contracts to support affordable clean energy.

You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive productivity and digitalization across global operations. Ideal candidates bring global sourcing experience, strong Excel analytics, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

Experience in strategic sourcing and commodity management in global settings.
Strong commercial, contractual and project management skills.
Excellent Excel data analysis and reporting; strong communication and negotiation.

Responsibilities

Implement commodity strategies and define local/regional material field strategies for non-pooled commodities.
Plan negotiations, define awarding strategies, and prepare sourcing board approvals while ensuring alignment with pooling opportunities.
Negotiate local, regional, or multi-site contracts, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Manage relationships with assigned suppliers, contributing to the EcoSystem commodity strategy and developing a preferred supplier list.
Analyze market trends and leverage insights to optimize procurement strategies.
Monitor supplier performance, report key metrics, and drive early supplier involvement in cost-out initiatives.
Identify and mitigate procurement risks while implementing strategic measures.
Ensure contractual terms are aligned with business needs by collaborating with strategic commodity management teams.
