Job summary

Octopus Energy Ltd in Leicester is seeking a Procurement Manager to own end-to-end procurement for residential low-carbon tech categories, including heat pumps, EV chargers, or solar storage. You will build category strategies, drive cost reductions, and secure supply continuity across suppliers.

This role requires direct procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Planning, Finance, and Product.

Qualifications

• Direct procurement experience across residential low-carbon tech is preferred.
• Proven track record of multi-million pound cost reductions.
• Strong commercial acumen, supplier P&Ls, and market insight.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end procurement accountability for residential low-carbon tech categories.
• Lead contract negotiations, supplier segmentation, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Planning, Operations, Finance, and Product to land new initiatives.
• Travel to suppliers/manufacturing sites as needed (approx. 1 week/month).
