Job summary

Dragados UK & Ireland is seeking a Design Manager to lead on behalf of the Senior Design Manager for the Euston Station Project. You will coordinate design packages, ensure compliance with requirements, and collaborate with the Design team, Construction team and supply chain to deliver a safe, buildable asset.

The role requires an engineering degree, strong communication skills, and experience in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

Experience in a similar design management role within engineering/construction.
Engineering degree or higher in a numerate discipline; HNC/HND acceptable with significant experience.
Membership of a professional body (e.g., Chartered member of an engineering institute) is preferable.
CSCS and sentinel card are required.

Responsibilities

Manage and progress design packages through Concept, Scheme and Detailed design to completion.
Guide design development to deliver a safe, buildable, operational and maintainable asset.
Ensure design submissions are reviewed and certified before issue to client/third parties.
Coordinate with client, principal designer and other stakeholders; align with Assurance processes.
Maintain design management and BIM Execution Plan compliance and feedback loops.
Lead design programme and cost forecasting, managing risks and opportunities.
