Job summary

Dragados UK & Ireland seeks a Senior Design Manager for the Euston Station Project (MDJV) to lead the design team, coordinate multi-disciplinary work and ensure compliance with contract requirements. You will drive the BIM Execution Plan, manage interfaces, and oversee delivery of a SMART schedule of design deliverables across the project.

Qualifications

• Degree-level engineering qualification or higher.
• Membership of a professional body or international equivalent.
• Extensive experience managing multi-discipline design projects.
• Rail and London Underground facing works experience.
• CSCS and sentinel cards held.

Responsibilities

• Develop design to deliver a safe, buildable, maintainable asset compliant with project requirements.
• Lead a high performing team with SMART targets and performance management.
• Drive value-led design and collaborative working across the design management organisation.
• Create and implement Design Management Plan and BIM Execution Plan with SMART deliverables.
• Provide assurance that designs meet project requirements and contractual constraints.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design and manage interfaces and clash checks.
• Ensure designers are qualified and competent for the project.
• Package designs to support construction programme and project phases.
