Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Procurement Agent (Level 3) to manage complex contracts and sub-contracts, drive strategic sourcing, and ensure policy compliance. You will lead supplier relationships and mentor junior staff across cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in procurement, strong negotiation skills, knowledge of contract law, and relevant CPSM/CIPS certification. UK-based role with travel to supplier sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Knowledge of contract law and procurement regulations.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Travelling: average of 1 day a week to supplier site in Farnborough, Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess capabilities.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and specifications.
• Manage long term Major Sub Contracts with complex scope and key stakeholder relationships.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Problem solve issues impacting business risk and success.
• Ensure leadership alignment in supplier strategy management of problem solving.
• Analyze procurement data and market trends to inform decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior procurement staff.
