Job summary

NES Fircroft in London is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support delivery of procurement activities for a newly formed Joint-Venture in Professional Services. You will coordinate category strategies across indirect spend and ensure governance and compliance.

The role involves end-to-end sourcing, contracting, supplier management, and post-award activities, with emphasis on collaboration across in-country and remote category teams to meet business priorities.

Qualifications

• University degree in Procurement, Engineering, or a business/technical discipline.
• CIPS chartership (or equivalent) preferred.
• Approximately 5+ years’ procurement experience in Oil & Gas, ideally Professional Services or In-Direct.
• Strong knowledge of Procurement & contracting, supplier management, and project execution environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions, cultures, and geographies (internal and supplier-facing).
• Strong commercial and analytical skills with confidence negotiating complex contracts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to drive alignment across competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of category strategies.
• Deliver end-to-end sourcing and contracting, including governance approvals, negotiations, and risk management.
• Ensure contracts are compliant with relevant standards and operationalised into P2P systems.
• Support development of Contracts & Procurement Plans (CPP) using demand data for assigned sub-categories.
• Execute compliance and due diligence activities, including audit resolution where applicable.
• Support post-award contract management, including invoice approval support, change requests, tracking contract expiries, and extensions/renewals.
• Support supplier performance activities (KPIs, performance reviews, and improvement actions).
• Ensure Local Content considerations are incorporated into procurement decisions where required.
• Act as a point of contact for suppliers and help category teams understand the local market.
• Promote a strong compliance culture and psychological safety; provide input to investigations and corrective actions where required.
