Job summary

JLA Limited in the United Kingdom seeks a Procurement Category Manager to oversee spend across Laundry, Catering, HVAC and Fire sectors at a national level. You will lead category plans and deliver short-term savings while shaping long-term strategies for total cost and quality across the Group.

Reporting to leadership, you will manage supplier performance, drive ESG goals with key suppliers and ensure compliant procurement processes across divisions.

Qualifications

• Excellent negotiator with strong relationship-building skills.
• Ability to think strategically and globally while acting locally.
• Strong IT skills with advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver against short term savings targets across the Group.
• Create category plans to identify medium and long term savings opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a robust procurement process and preferred supplier list with governance.
• Ensure supplier agreements are robust and signed in line with Group governance.
• Collaborate with accounts to optimize payment terms and early payment discounts.
• Drive ESG initiatives in partnership with key suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and spend analytics.
